Well that's August out of the way and this is how things are looking at the moment...

First scorer as we all know was Bobby Grant, with his great equaliser against Warsaw and MikeA guessed that one... Well done MikeA Will Karma you up for that In the 7 games in August we amassed 6 goals and the top scorer so far, guessed by nobody, (But Michael Symes ) is ....... Michael Symes Just a bit of fun to keep us sane, but come April when we are only a win away from a place in the play-offs, it will be more fun...

Great month for us, despite no goals at Edgar Street We amassed 13 goals thanks to The Alex last Friday Goals coming thick and fast from Proccy - leading by example Symes and Bobby Grant
Add those to the goals scored in August and we have 19

The leading marksman being Bobby Grant, with 5 goals to his name Do not think anybody has picked Bobby for top scorer, but a long way to go

Cannot wait for October

Octobers gone, but Stanley have not 10 great goals this month, Gary King and Dean Winnards first, 4 super goals against Cheltenham And who can forget 2 super goals, Bobbys 2nd against Cheltenham And that unbelieveable strike from Symes against Rochdale.....

So all in all we now have 29 goals so far this season and still Bobby Grant leading the way with 8 so far....

Well Novembers games are out of the way and the mighty Stanley managed another 8 goals The Wonderful Michael Symes scored in every game this month (Even in the Dirty Daggers game ) And Jimmy Ryan got off the mark, with a goal against Salisbury. Bobby Grant also chipped in with his share of the goals and it is Bobby, along with Symes who lead the way, with 10 goals each so far this season, which is over half of the 37, scored so far by Stanley

Let's hope that with a very heavy programme of fixtures ahead of us in League and Cups, that December does bring us Goals, Goals, Goals!!!!!

Well December is now out of the way and we are almost into a new year. This month has seen us score 4 against Torquay…….. We saw Luke Joyce get off the mark for Stanley, with his goal, against Torquay, also Sean McConville got off the mark with the second against Bury – let’s hope it’s the first of many!!!!!

We have now scored 50 goals this season, as opposed to 28 during the same period last season – albeit from fewer games!

The Simply wonderful Michael Symes leads the way with 13, followed very closely by Bobby Grant on 12 – let’s hope that they are both still with us come 2nd of February!!!!


Just wonder, as Bobby scored the first goal this season and the first goal in our new strip, who will score the first goal of 2010????
