good idea
i think it was a good idea the club signing a polish keeper because it will attract the local polish population and increase attendances and build a fan base with the local polish population

There are lots of Polish and Portuguese down Naaarwich way too!!!!

i think they support their teams in their respective countries, but if we could get them to have a team in England, who knows.

Must admit I'm somewhat bemused by Bananahead's latest rantings. Are there a lot of Polish folk in the Accy district? Do they know we've got one of their fellow countrymen in goals? Would they come if they did know?

Have to admit that with Ryan Nelsen playing for Blackburn.interest in that club has grown amazingly over here.Never spotted a Blackburn shirt about the place, but have seen a few in the last couple of years.He(and the club) get spoken about quite frequently on the radio,whereas prior to his signing nothing was ever mentioned-as in "who the f*** are Blackburn?"

And you are so well-acquainted with this burgeoning community of East Europeans that you've spoken with 20 of them who've told you that they're coming along? Are you sure about this, Bananabrain, or is it another rumour that you've heard from one of your "sources" like the top Scottish player we were supposed to be signing...and Paul Ince going to Coventry?
