Gravesend support

There coach up here has been cancelled due to lack of support!........

There expected to bring aroung 20 people and for a Conference side in a high position is a disgrace.

Is the IES that much of a fortress............hehehehe

Re: Gravesend support

No segregation I presume then.. and those that do come up will be able to have a friendly chat and drink pre match.... just guessing no segregation for 20 or so...

Re: Gravesend support

No there wont be segregation for that amount i would of thought as Woking and Leigh weren't segregated and they brought a lot more than 20.....

Re: Gravesend support

Unfortunately Gravesend are stuggle to attract hugh crowds, although those that do go are passionate, knowledgable and friendly.
There were only just over 1500 on v Dagenham on Tuesday including a good 200+ from Dagenham.
I think you will find a lot of their supporters will be making their own way and stopping over for the weekend at Blackpool!

For the record they also failed to take a coach to Margate, cancelled at late notice, again I suspect most going under their own steam

Re: Gravesend support

I do believe last season we bought up about 150ish and there was only one coach load, the rest me included made our own way up, the same if i remember happend at margate, and then we took about 400, i think you will find a few more than 20 and it wasnt segregated last season. Our crowds are steadily increasing, ranging from 12-1700, which for a part time conference team isnt to bad.should be a good game on saturday, what with our league positions and last seasons 3-3 draw, only this time we may just keep all three points instead of giving you one. i think i will predict a 1-2 to us (or even 4-4.) this game is anyones.

Re: Gravesend support

I've got a lot of time for the 'Fleet Suporters' Club.

They were very hospitable when I spent a weekend there last November - and a lot of fun to be with !

Their side really upped their game at the end of last season, and I'm sure that they'll be there or thereabouts at the end of this one.

It's a long way for the 'Fleet fans to come today, so let's give them a warm unsegregated welcome. (Well, I know we will - without me asking !)

Re: Gravesend support

Smiffy just a few pointers

segregation is done on police and the saftey officers advice not at the whim of supporters a team could only bring 3 fans and they could be segregated numbers do not enter in to the matter if our safty officer deems the match to be segregated then it will be so

hope this clears up the matter of segregation
