I presume you mean ex Burscough forward Lee McEvilly?
I heard that Paul Simpson at Carlisle is interested in signing him-he tried to sign him just before the transfer deadline so could possibly try again. |

No offence but Macc are in the football league so surely that would be more attractive. Having said that i would much rather he went to you then to Simmo at Carlisle. Simmo is the reason we are were we are now .

In short we finished 5th the season before he took over hope in the town despite much apathy still had been as high as i had ever known it. Simmo brought in his enept management and the only thing that saved him was his only half decent cup run his right hand man Jamie Hoyland was also a pillock and is now at Rossy. The other thing that annoys me about him is his excuses he always has them nothing is ever his fault. He blamed Carlisles relegation on Roddy Collins who was sacked after 4 games and said the reason he was sacked from Rochdale is because he lost the last game of the season. He is an annoying silly little man and i for one was happy to see him suffer relegation.

I hope Evil does well wherever he goes i will always remember his goal against Preston in the FA cup and his stint in goal was sheer quality.

Well, we got him - I know Lee said when he was here on loan that he would like to play for us then Rochdale called him back so I'm not surprised that he chose us over Macclesfield or anyone else.
