help the club during summer
As usual there will be lots of work to do around the club during the summer months.
The ground will need its usual lick of paint, general maintainance and tidy up. I have been asked by Mick Schultz to see if I can co-ordinate a team of people to help with this important job. I also offered that if people don't want to just do a bit of paintnig or whatever can we assist with other things such as advertising. The club could do with people trying to push it amongst the local business sector with things like advertising on the annual fixture lists, Gold Bond Draw etc. I'd also like to see us launch some of the scratch cards like Rovers have in local newsagents, supermarkets and pubs. But as usual these things can be time consuming especially for one person. If we coul get a team of ten together to do one thing one weekend and then another the following weekend then we could get a lot done. The appeal for help shifting snow from the pitch for the game the other week was a huge success, can we match it? PM please and I'll try to sort a date out convenient for all when the season ends.
