how true!

Maybe I was hasty in my judgement of him yesterday, and it is true that a striker is judged on his goals rather than his overall performance. But I probably based my judgement on the fact that I think his goal return has been poor for one so highly rated (at this level anyroad). I also think that many of our recent woes have been due to accomodating him in the side. I may be wrong in that resepct and certainly wont get into an argument over tactics and formations cos its all gibberish to me.

Anyway, well done James, two well taken goals

From what I've heard and read, it appears that Mr. Beattie may not have been really match fit and its never been a good Idea putting all your eggs in one basket, unless the basket is Van Percey
