Jason Petkovic
According to the website of his current club, Perth Glory, he's worth 12 extra points in a season and is the rock upon which Glory's title success was built. The question is, what standard of football do they play at?

Don't seem to have a fans' team, but they do seem to be a reasonably-sized club with home gates of 8,000 - 9,000. A pic of the stadium shows open-air stands under beautiful blue skies. If he does sign, he's in for a bit of a culture shock!

International Goalkeeper
The club are currently in talks with Australian International Goalkeeper Jason Petkovic formerly of Perth Glory and two times NSL Goalkeeper of the year. In the past Petkovic has had trials with Southampton and Norway's Rosenborg. The club are also still in talks with Jon Kennedy. |

Jason Petkovic is a current member of the Socceroos (Australia's national soccer team)
Petkovic has now played 100 games for Perth Glory but has played over 250 games in the NSL If he can go past 345, he will beat the goalkeeping record held by Bob Catlin who has now retired Jason used to play for Adelaide City but in 1999 joined Perth Glory Statistically Petkovic is the best goalkeeper still playing in the NSL. He has kept a clean sheet on 89 occasions and could beat the all-record set by Bob Catlin of 105 Petkovic has had trials with Southampton (England) and Norway's Rosenborg but these were not successful so for now he remains in the NSL
