I agree with you JEFF, his effort is outstanding but there are lots average players who can go on the pitch give 110% every game but its the quality we need in this league. Jay Harris and Proccy in the central midfield is a disaster. No creativity, neither can pass or shoot. Time for a change next game. Personally I'd play Craney and Mannix in the middle, one who can push on and make things happen and one who can sit, keep the ball and pick the passes not giving the ball away much.

I'm surprised that some people agree with me. I think you may have it right Smiffy - Craney and Mannix in the middle, after all at the recent forum Coley said that Stanley had the best midfielder in the league Ian Craney, yet he plays him up front. Just another Coley mystery.

I think the reason we are playing Craney upfront is that we have nobody else to play there! Mullers is the only fit striker we have at the moment, were in desperate need of the 'Mangan' type player, who can frighten defenders as we've no pace at all upfront. Need to bring someone in on loan before the weekend I think....

Completely agree.
It's hard to admit it because Harris and Proctor are two of the few players in our team that give everything in their performances. However they are both jaded and ineffective. Give them a rest and let them compete for a place back in the side at a later date.

i must watch a completely different game me. jays distribution might not be his best attribute but he is the best passer we have playing in midfield at the minute. procky constantly gives it away, toddy runs into blind alleys most of the time (granted he was good for 50 mins last night). one of the reasons that you may think he gives it away is cos he is our only midfielder who looks to get the ball down and start passing. some of the others just want to head it and kick it as far as they can in the general direction of mullin.

agreed jeff. evil was bad earlier this season but i think he would be worth a recall now we have no striker. harris makes at least one rash challenge every game(usually just before being subbed). he made a bad one in 1st half too that wasnt carded and was lucky to stay on the pitch. and whilst noone can question his commitment and attitude, i think it may be time to question his ability.(esp with mannix and king on the bench)
