Jon Kennedy
in the telegraph last night (28th) jon kennedy says coley has to offer him a contract soon because he has been offered trials with to div 2 sides and the club havent contacted him since last season and he thinks they are using him him until thet sign a keeper like Jason Petkovic and he cant hang around
so what do you think of Jon going?

I think that Kennedy should speak to the club instead of trying to use an agent. He might get somewhere then.

I think things will start to happen from July 1st.. We should see lots of activity over the next couple of weeks.
 I just hope we get to see it on the official website before reading it in the telegraph or observer... just like other clubs do eh |

from the horses mouth eric said the club were going to be talking to john this week so we'll just have to wait to find out. I really hope we can keep him coz one we need two keepers and two if petkovic's work permit doesn'y come through, and he has been refused before, and we lose jon as well we aint got no keepers!!!! plus jon's a nice guy and we've already lost one nice guy in Jamo.

Just a point of interest here, wasn't the club trying to sign a keeper from Wigan Athletic on a season long loan???? and if so, combined with the potential signing of Jason Petkovic, maybe this could be the straw that broke the camels back so to speak

The Wigan player we were interested in was James Salisbury.....Haven't heard anything for a bit about him.
