[quote=loweiy;728288]I stand by my posting that it showed a complete lack of ambition on his part, league one clubs where looking at him and he could have done much better than Rochdale.

[quote=shakermaker;728303]I thought the same and said so at the time of his departure.

I think the fact that one of his best mate's is there was a major factor.....

As Rochdale have just signed a keeper from Man Utd maybe we could get him back on loan?

They've signed that 'keeper because Kenny is injured. Put that stick away

Re: Kenny Arthur

He's right in that we should have a GK coach and I'd be surprised if any club would loan us another 'keeper until we had one in place.

That said - I didn't rate him - he's no better than Dunbavin so he's no great loss.

Perhaps we should try for another old favourite:

Bad about Jamo leaving a good job to come here, with jb saying he's got a job aslong as they are in management. Than has to leave, i thought martin was a good keeper, hopefully we can get another one in soon but Bav's has been doing well over past few games from the reports on here

We can't get another keeper in until the transfer embargo is lifted. We definately need one and Bavs just isn't good enough.

Re: Kenny Arthur

As much as cover in the goalkeeping role is required, I feel some of you are missing the bigger picture.
Iain Dunbavin who most including myself considered a conference standard keeper not good enough for the football league has improved this season and deserves praise.

He was rightfully given his chance when Martin made some mistakes and took it.

Re: Kenny Arthur

Dunbavin is a good shot stopper but his command of his penalty area is terrible, his decision making is terrible and his distribution is terrible. The sooner we get a first choice keeper the better.

Re: Kenny Arthur

I agree Bav's shot stopping is superb, he made a great save on saturday.

But agreed his decision making and distribution leave alot to be desired.

Randolph back on loan from January im hoping for

Re: Kenny Arthur

after Randolphs general performance against Northwich in the cup we'd be lucky to get him back.

Re: Kenny Arthur

Always considered Randolph better on the whole then Rob Elliot (although I love him too) and still cant believe that RE is the Addick's number one!! And now Rob's injured, sods law they bring in another ex-Accy player in Carl Ikeme and Darren still has to warm the bench!!
