Although the LDV sponsor issue is to sorted my understanding is that the Conference Cup will be played as well as the LDV? Bring it on the more games the merrier for me. It's gonna be a greta season.
Anyoner wish we where back in the Unibond?

We got a new roof, & a bar on the Clayton End & a new school in Nepal. Beat an Ex-Premiership side away, had some more tarmac laid over the puddles & saw a 3 inch high header. ASFC Youth system saw youth inthe first team & more importantly we signed a "pub"! Remember 6 points off Morecambe & paid our highest fee ever for a player. All this & still "light" years ahead of Barrow & Worksop!!!!!

Confguide is reporting that Gravesend and Northfleet who finished 11th last season, just beind Stanley, haven't been accepted into next season's LDV Trophy. Instead, their place has gone to Scarborough who finished 15th. According to Fleet's website it's because their ground has insufficient capacity. Surprisingly, Burton who finished 14th miss out as well; presumably their ground isn't big enough either.
