Re: Live on Setanta
Yeah, they've finally picked a night to play when I'm not working - lets have more Thu nights and forget the Tue and Fri nights
£12 £7 and £3 - cheaper than at home

Re: Live on Setanta
I'm guessing that half a gate of 5,000ish for the replay is about the same as the £20K that we'd have got for winning it on Saturday so I guess Eric will be happy. Winning at Prenton Park then be the icing on the cake.
I remember Tranmere staff and stewards were very welcoming for the Paint Pot so expect another very good evening.

Re: Live on Setanta
Couldnt be any worse, from a Tranmere fans point of view.
This will affect the crowd massively now. They're even closing the away end, with your lot in the side. Exactly same as the JP trophy.
Good for the respective boards, bad for the home fans.

Its short notice for the away fans to travel.. probably not many more than the paint pot trophy game...
But when do the fans get consideration over pound notes?

Re: Live on Setanta
Usually our board does consider the fans more, when it comes to the FA Cup.
Last year they paid for 23 coaches travelling to Bradford, Chesterfield and Hereford.

Re: Live on Setanta
Football for fans NOT Tv, it will affect the folk that travel too.....
But we will run a mini bus if enough wanna experience it "in the flesh" like it was in the good ol days.... PM me, reply to this thread or bob onto the ultras site. Lets make some noise & help Coley & Co get through

So Season 2007-2008 was a poor one ? Well....
We got a new roof, & a bar on the Clayton End & a new school in Nepal. Beat an Ex-Premiership side away, had some more tarmac laid over the puddles & saw a 3 inch high header. ASFC Youth system saw youth inthe first team & more importantly we signed a "pub"! Remember 6 points off Morecambe & paid our highest fee ever for a player. All this & still "light" years ahead of Barrow & Worksop!!!!!

Re: Live on Setanta
Makes a change to see a police force who don't need over 7 days to make arrangments to put a few traffic cones out. Back to the good old days of replays in the week following the original match
