Main Stand revolution?
Did my ears deceive me? Was there signs of life in the main stand yesterday?
 There certainly was, welcome one and all to the new Norwegian Supporters Club. Seven Norwegians made the trek over for yesterdays match and have had a supporters group for the last three years. They are hoping to start swelling their numbers soon and they had their dictaphones and video cameras out for an interview with Andy Proctor in the bar. Poor guy didnt know what was happening as he had just walked through the door when half a dozen drunken Norwegians thrust their gizmos (steady on) in his face and bombarded him with questions one after another! Absolute quality.

Do you think they could do us a favour when they go home by persuading Mannix to come back here?
 Seriously though, I thought we'd had a Norwegian supporters' group for the last 15-20 years? Didn't they win some kind of Norwegian supporters of English clubs tournament in the early 90's...and turn up at Buxton once with viking helmets and swords?

that particular ceased to be - maybe lack of support from this end and no follow ups. Hopefully this, and others like it around the world, will get a little more exposure.

Norway, Poland, Asia (big place!), Minnesota - fans all over the world. Maybe not many in the Accrington area, though. But how can we cash in on this international fan base?

I was stuck in the Stand as I brought my Dad to the game and he aint really the rowdy type. There were a section of about 6 lads a couple of rows behind us who started singing like mad drunken lunatics. Was good to see it catch on, and nice to know when I am in the Stand I can still sing
Good on 'em. |

The Norwegian lads were quality entertainment in the bar, Proccy didn't know what to do!!!

Yep, they wee defnately the lads from behind me, singing the same thing. Aswell as cheering every time he touched the ball
Brung some spirit to the Stand, but I'll be back at Clayton End this week anyway.... |
