Missing the Football?

Get yourself to Ewood this week to support the England women. Cheap tickets, good football and the two fit players named Rachel.

Re: Missing the Football?

Don't think I'll be able to get there, but FOX is showing Sweden v Denmark and England v Finland Sunday afternoon so I'll have to settle for participating from afar.

You really are detined to a career with the The Sun. Perhaps you could cover the stories they run on the colour of the womens underwear at Wimbledon?

Re: Missing the Football?

I'm under strict orders to interview the prettier players. Its common practice i'm afraid. If your ugly, you don't get on telly and you dont get in the papers. Sad I know, but thats the way. and no this is not work for Radio Lancs

Thumbs up Re: Missing the Football?

CAN I BRING THIS BACK TO THE ORIGINAL POINT!!!!!!

Before mr cottier decided to be a chuavenist and gloss over what is happening and make this thread about him!!!!

THE POINT WAS :-

1. IF YOU ARE MISSING YOUR FOOTBALL

2. IF YOU WANT TO WITNESS A GOOD ATMOSPHERE

3. IF YOU WANT TO WATCH AND SUPPORT YOUR COUNTRY

4. IF YOU WANT TO TAKE PART IN THE MOST HIGH PROFILE TOURNAMENT LIKELY TO TAKE PLACE IN THIS COUNTRY FOR THE FORESEABLE FUTURE

5. BUT MOST OF ALL IF YOU WANT TO REPRESENT YOUR CLUB (ASFC OBVOIUSLY) THROUGHOUT EUROPE

GET DOWN TO EWOOD PARK AT 6PM ON WEDNESDAY OR SATURDAY WEARING YOUR STANLEY SHIRTS AND WAVING THE STANLEY FLAGS AND SPREAD THE WORD.

I'VE ALREADY BEEN ON EUROSPORT WAVING MY CLUB FLAG AND WEARING MY STANLEY SHIRT ON SUNDAY AT THE SWEDEN VS DENMARK GAME. SPREAD THE WORD PEOPLE AND JOIN IN THE FESTIVAL OF FOOTBALL.

IT'S ONLY £5 FOR ADULTS AND £2.50 FOR CONCESSIONS. BARGIN!!!

Re: Missing the Football?

I FORGOT TO MENTION BEFORE THAT A WIN ON WEDNESDAY WILL PUT ENGLAND INTO THE SEMI-FINALS OF THE COMPETITION.

SO COME ON AND SHOW YOUR COUNTRY YOU LOVE IT, BY CHEERING THE WOMENS NATIONAL SIDE TO VICTORY, AND THE FIRST TIME ANY ENGLAND TEAM HAVE BEEN IN A SEMI FINAL SINCE 1990.

P.S. PLEASE DON'T QUOTE ME ON THE ABOVE, I CAN'T REMEMBER MOST OF EURO 96!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed the England ladies match last night - shame they didn't win as they deserved to but it was a really good game of football and a brilliant atmosphere. Will definately go & watch them again
