Newcomers to this site need to understand that when Dave says 'us' he really means 'them'! When most of us say 'us' we mean 'us' but when one of 'them' says 'us' he doesn't mean 'us' at all. I hope that's cleared that up.

I think that cleared it up for all of us...but then again you never explained who them are for the newcomers, us that have been here a while know who them are but them who are new even though they may be one of us may be confused to who them are!!!!!

'you' can't be 'us' via the singular/plural rule, neither can you be a 'them' courtesy of the same rule. Therefore you must be a dingle
