No goals
With only Grimsby on 9 points having scored fewer goals than us in div2, surely it is time for Coley to please START with one of the young lads in attack to try and give us some firepower up front. We just dont work the opposition goalies enough. It must be worth a try?

Re: No goals
Rovers were there for the taking in the 3 ties we've played this season but the closest you came to scoring in any of those games was a freekick that was intended as a cross.

So Season 2007-2008 was a poor one ? Well....
We got a new roof, & a bar on the Clayton End & a new school in Nepal. Beat an Ex-Premiership side away, had some more tarmac laid over the puddles & saw a 3 inch high header. ASFC Youth system saw youth inthe first team & more importantly we signed a "pub"! Remember 6 points off Morecambe & paid our highest fee ever for a player. All this & still "light" years ahead of Barrow & Worksop!!!!!

Re: No goals
you have a point but we have played wycombe (top of league 2) and tranmere twice (league 1).
I feel we need a ben savage type striker - someone powerful who is akward.
Last night, Paul Mullin was the worst player IMO. He could not hold the ball up. If we are playing 1 up front you need someone who can hold it up and bring others into play.

Re: No goals
I disagree fc:stanley
that was poor by mullin standards - to be honest, he came across 2 centre backs who where good quality.

Re: No goals
True goal scorers seem to to be what we are lacking lately, how many teams have we taken apart at the fes only to lose it by not taking our chances. But on the limited resources at accy how can we get a decent striker to join us ? me and grimps have seen some good strikers on our non league travels, are they good enough for the league who can tell.People may laugh at me on here but joel byrom is playing some of his best football lately. And K.P.like us must have seen some good ones, what do you think K.P. ?
