This isn't an ordinary business though, the players will have had some idea if they want to stay or go, it's how it works. Doesn't take them a week to decide if a bigger club comes in with an offer A week at Stanley usually means any time later, so it may not actually have been 7 days in the normal sense of the word 'week'

Hey dave, theres more than bigger clubs make offers, in fact many non leaguers can offer more. thats the way of the world.

They were not FA rules, but Football League, I stated the deadline and time scales earlier in this thread.

Wasn't meant at you chief. I was just pointing out how easy it is to know the rules when "reengaging" players as they call it. I know the club have an extremely difficult job also.
