Paddy Sowden
There was an article in the programme last night about Paddy Sowden.
His 7 yr old Grandson is visiting Stanley on Saturday as they live in Cambridge, he's actually in the academy there. His Dad has been in contact asking if anybody has anything related to Paddy they could show the young lad on Saturday.

Interesting article here - PAST MASTERS - PADDY SOWDEN (says he came to Accrington in 1956 - think my old boss played for Stanley around that time too - Willy Millar)

Paddy Sowden played for Bacup Borough in 1947/48 after being released by Blackpool. Bacup sold him to Hull City. More info can be found in my book - The History of Bacup Football Club 1879-2014
