Paul Mullin?
Is Paul Mullin leaving you at the end of this season? I heard somewhere he doesn't want to go F.T as he's got a good job and wants to keep it as it's too much to give up.
Good player and I'm sure Barrow would love to take him! |

Everyone thought there would be no chance of him going full time for exactly the reasons you say... however it turns out its such a good job he has that he can get someone else to do it for him on wages and go full time.... Turns out he is one of the keenest to take the step and as such a bit of a certainty for next season
 Which of course is good news for us Will you make second place? 5 points and 5 games the difference isn't it? |

Ah well!
As for second place, we're only just out of liquidation and Hucknall and Droylsden are better teams. It's still possible mathematically but not realistically. It's A season too early for us perhaps although next season will be harder in conf. 2 with the top Doc Martens sides. We haven't got the money of Hucknall, Droylsden and Dave Pace or yourselves when you won the league. Money doesn't guarantee success but it helps but I'd like to think we can challenge for promotion next year IF we have a mini-clearout this summer. Good to see you doing well and going F.T next season, most conf. teams are now F.T and the gap between the league and conf. shortens whilst between the feeder leagues and conf. it gets bigger. Good luck in the play-offs if you make it! |
