2 goals from 7 starts is hardly setting the world alight material but he did play well in the games that I saw, and looked sharp. His run was hampered by injury which unfortunately will be his epitaph. If he remained fit he'd be an asset to any club in this division, but I suspect that if he remained fit he'd be playing higher than this division anyway.
If we had money we'd have signed him but with as meagre a budget as we have we cannot afford to give anything at all to someone who will probably be available for less than half the games. |
