Article on fishy site now, says the surgery went well & Rommy on road to recovery - apparently his assailant, Fuller, has tweeted wishing him well & saying there was no intent or malice in the 'challenge' - oh well, that makes it alright then!
Get well soon Rommy - a gentleman of a player, unlike some!

It was an absolutely shocking elbow. the fact rommy was bleeding etc he didnt apologise on the pitch nor did he apologise the day after etc

only once the news story has broke has he put the tweet out.

and to think in the first leg IIRC he also put the stiches into billy kee?
