Stanley Ladies WIN!!!!!!!
Stanley Ladies won 1-0 against Carleton Rovers
Their first victory of the season, it took along time coming but they have done it. I am personally proud of each and everyone of the girls who took part, whether on the pitch or not. I am also proud of the management team/coaches in fact everyone involved for not once ever giving up all season.

Congratulations to the girls team, maybe this winning thing is becoming a habit for all our teams from youth/reserves to 1st team and Ladies. Keep it up for the rest of your season

Woo-hoo, I just want to reiterate what Bottletop has said really - I am dead proud of each one of the girls as the majority of the ones who played today have been there since Day 1 so it is great for them and us to get a result before the end of the season as they have been working SO hard in training and as a team.
On behalf of all the girls and coaches thankyou to everyone who came down to support us - Rommy Boco included!! It's great, woo-hoo  And a great ending to our home fixture calendar BUT watch this space for a 'special' game in the near future!!Karen x Last edited by KarenFaz; 26-03-2007 at 00:24. |

I'm proper chuffed for the girls!!! The only thing that did my head in yesterday was Karen asking every 2 minutes after half time how long was left!!! And I'm not exagerating, she asked so often we sent her for a walk!!! I wish I could've been a bigger part of it by getting on the field (not counting pitch invasions!!!) but as Karen said every single member of the team contributed yesterday, from those that train and didn't get in the 16, to those in the 16 that didn't get on, to those of us injured and unavailable. This is for everyone, the true meaning of being a team, and more importantly of being Accrington Stanley. PRIDE, PASSION, BELIEF!!!! COME ON YOU REDS!!!
