That's what is now making this season a farce, some clubs with fans in, most without, teams not able to train properly, enforced lay offs, now getting to the point of is it worth it.

Take your point Cashy but at what cost to the integrity of the competition, fans are quick to moan about refs, penalties not given so to me playing against or being the unprepared team is just that playing for the sake of keeping who happy, fans , EFL, government or club chairmen just doesn't sit right with me at the moment.

Whole new territory - almost, apart from Geordies - Everton V City off, due to CV19

Not often top flight teams are affected........

Re: Sunderland suspended too

The time now to allow clubs with fit squads to bring forward games from further into the season.

No sense whatsoever in having two clubs whose games have been postponed because their opponents have had an outbreak sitting idle when they could be playing each other and reducing the number of outstanding games to be played.

Seeing as it looks like the EFL and others have allowed the season to start with no apparent rules regarding Covid and how many players you need fit or unfit to postpone a game can you see them organising a renewed fixture list.
