Re: telegraph last night

Eric made an official club statement that included a paragraph about the telegraph sports editor saying they have always done us proud and the coverage has been great. Its the telegraph news editor who attacks the club.

I am not suprised there isnt a mad rush to pat them on the back... Its not the first time they have done this ..

Re: telegraph last night

well I wasn't expecting a mad rush but it's so easy to dish out a good beating but not so easy to offer praise where it's due!!

so from now on when the papers get it wrong (as I know they do) we should all just wait for the clubs official response, I agree kipax.

Re: telegraph last night

the official response came out within minutes of the paper coming out because they new in advance what was in it.. so no need to wait..

the point i am trying to make is that the sports and news sections are two seperate things... everyone seems happy with the sports and if you search this forum theres a lot of people started topics saying how good they think the telegraph sports section has become.. I even made a post saying I ahve started to read the telegraph just because there sports section has more accy stuff in... its al here to read mate... we have already praised them over the season.

its the news section that craps on the club....its a different thing.... like left hand right hand

Haven't seen it but to be honest its their job - after the recent bad press they have give us it just seems like their shutting the gate after the horse has bolted.
