Testimonial?
Is there any news as to when there will be a testimonial for Jamie Speare or is there not going to be one at all? After satying loyal to the club for so many years, he surely deserves a testimonial in the least.

even if it wasnt 5 years i think anyone who plays for a club like jamie has done for so long deserves a testimonial.

well jamo started his carrer at everton would be nice to it at stanley are even goodison

i think that jamo deserves a testimonial for the si ple fact that he has gone through 3 leagues with the club and always seems to have given the best he can give !!!!!

Of course Jamie deserves his testimonial, it will give the fans a chance to say goodbye to him properly. Seem to remember reading in the paper that it would either be on the 17th or 31st July so maybe we'll hear something from the club soon.

Got a reply from Jamie tonight.. He has been on Honeymoon! .. But read this forum and this thread on his return.. In his own words he is "flattered" at the interest
He hopes to have next season sorted out within the next 24hrs. Testimonial... Well its deffo going to happen as the club confirmed he will ahve one.. But who against? He is waiting to hear back from some clubs and he will let me know as soon as he finds out... Well done baldy!... one of the clubs is Everton BTW everyone.. testimonials are played at home not away. |
