Re: The Cheltenham Roar

I wondered whether it had been airbrushed but here's another one at the point of "contact". Since he was travelling a bit I think the shot with his arms in the air could well have been a couple of yards further on? Anyway, they are not best pleased with Terry but Terry doesn't actually give a monkeys.

Re: The Cheltenham Roar

Gornell's post-goal reaction was a bit OTT.

On TV it looks like he's screaming at a solitary old man on the terrace.

Not sure what his beef with Cheltenham is but he doesn't seem to like them much. On the face of it they look like they were pretty loyal to him (5 goals in 60 games).

I'm sure he has his reasons but he did look like a bit of an eejit.

Re: The Cheltenham Roar

Apparently he was inviting him into the carpark afterwards to sort out their differences! (According to unofficial Cheltenham sources on, erm, twitter). Surprised me as I thought only ukippers did that.

Re: The Cheltenham Roar

Had a peak on Cheltenham's fans forum - they really don't like our Terry do they? Some if 'em are determined to show him how they feel by unfollowing him on Twitter - I bet he'll lose sleep over that
Seriously though, if he was inciting their fans as is being claimed I doubt it would've gone unnoticed by the officials, bad as they were! Also, surely CTFC themselves would've put in a complaint?

Re: The Cheltenham Roar

Seems a case of those who giveth can't taketh.

Like when Kevin Ellison was getting baldy abuse and scored then slapped his head and that obese Stanley fan wanted to kick off with him at their place on the Good Friday game.

Players learn to take it in their stride whilst fans become over emotional cretins.
