Agreed!!

No ambulances available from Altham, Broad Oak, or even Blackburn? Whenever I have been unfortunate enough to need one, it has arrived within 5 mins.

Sorry, I could say more about our NHS, but that would be unfair to those on the frontline, we all know who's to blame for the problems.

Re: Tom Bender

Man City fan here - I came to the game tonight from Yorkshire coz my mates a Stanley season ticket holder. Very best wishes to Tom and his family for a speedy recovery, it was a horribly long wait for that ambulance. The Tranmere fans were great - at times like this there are no teams and no colours to divide us just a football family hoping and praying for the best for one of our own.

Re: Tom Bender

This is, horribly, the lead story on the Daily Mails website, Tom Bender suffers serious head injury - Accrington v Tranmere abandoned | Mail Online
I do hope for Toms sake that its paper sensationalisation, but the picture is horrible and doesn't look good in anyway at all.

Poor lad, he was loving it up here with us as well, judging by his twitter updates! Here's hoping the well wishes from stanley fans and their wider footballing family are of some encouragement to Tom and that its nowhere near as bad as this article makes out.

Get well soon Tom xx
