Tom Lees

I know you were wanting him back but can you say where his best position is as he has just signed on loan with us till jan?

hope you get sorted for the season and do well apart from when you play the shakers!

Re: Tom Lees

I think we'll be good with what we've got at the back this season, As for Lees, He's fairly dependable, but not too fantastic with the ball at his feet. Played at RB for us, his preferred position is CB as far as I am aware.

Re: Tom Lees

Did a fair job as a stopper, distribution not too clever.

Re: Tom Lees

Seems to be coming good on the early promise he showed once he'd settled with us and the following season with Bury. Now back with his parent club Leeds, he's been selected for England u21 squad for European championships next month

Re: Tom Lees

First time I saw a young Tom Lees play for Stanley, I said that he reminded me of Bobby Moore........composed, cool, never wasteful, level headed and full of potential to be a great player at a much higher level.
So far he has realised a lot of that potential in an everage Leeds side. I still think that he can improve a lot more yet. Good luck to Tom. I hope that Tom will remember his stay at Stanley when he is a real star!
