Two Johns, Jimmy & Bumble

For all Stanley fans, I thoroughly recommend the latest copy of the local 'LIFESTYLE' magazine, available free from various local outlets.
There's a light-hearted personal interview with John & Jimmy about their early days, which is both amusing & interesting.
Also, an article on Jon Anderson (of YES fame), about growing up in Accrington & playing footie on Stanley's Peel Park car park against his boyhood 'arch-enemy' - Bumble.
I remember Jon's family lived on Norfolk Street, directly opposite my Grandparents house. I could never understand why there were always girls hanging around whenever I visited Grannie, until I discovered he & his brother were local celebrities, having appeared on TV's 'Thank Your Lucky Stars' in 1964 with their group The Warriors.
Although he now lives in America, Jon still follows Stanley's progress from afar.
Get your copy while you can!

Sorry Rowlf, it's only in the Hyndburn area edition.
I think Burnley have their own separate LIFESTYLE edition.

A good read....
as the magazine is published by Scott Dawson, maybe a few should be available from the Wham on Saturday?

Just been down to renew my season ticket, and there are several copies of the magazine in the club shop.
