Two tone pitch

Surprised nobody has mentioned the two patches of darker 'grass' on the pitch yesterday.

Apparently someone had got into the ground and sprayed 'Coleman Out' on to the pitch, so they had covered it over with the darker colour.

I personally think this is outrageous!!!

What kind of 'fan' (and I use the term loosely) comes into the ground over night to vandalise the pitch?

It doesn't so much matter what was written, more that someone saw fit to try and undo all the ground staffs hard work in getting the pitch ready and, may I say, making it look very nice with its tram lines and circles. It looked very professional.

Gary and Paul spend a lot of time on that pitch, and some pillock decides to make a mockery of their efforts!!!

A life ban should be in order, plus a full tar and feathering from Gary and Paul, if they ever find out who did this.

must be a 'fan' cos your average run of the mill vandalising Herbert couldn't give a hoot about Coley.

Anybody who does know who it is should use thier information wisely and stop this kind of thing. Phone call or email to the club or failing that let somebody on here know via PM and it will be passed along.

Give Coleman some real money and then let him off the lead. If he doesn’t get things sorted after that then you can protested, don’t have a go at him because we can’t measure up on the pitch. At the moment we’re making stupid unnecessary mistakes (Like Grants on Saturday). If we have a problem it’s on the park and in the bored room (sp intended). Coleman, Eric and the club have done a marvellous job for Accrington and the Town; we’re having a bad start in our return season. It’s not a repeat of 62.

In respect of the individual who perpetrated this insult, he should have his balls painted green, photographed and banned from the ground for life. Not for the attack on John Coleman (Your entitled to an opinion) but for dishonouring our club and vandalising the pitch.
