Ultras wristbands feature in today's NLP

Page 3 of today's NLP has a big feature on the Ultras wristbands with a great shot of Evil wearing one. The Ultras are described as "top of the Conference fans' football league" and there's a quote from Jonathan Smith who says, "We had to wait two or three weeks for them to come in, but a lot of us are wearing them because we appreciate the fans' efforts."

OK I know I am probably being dim, or maybe it's because it's fairly early morning and I haven't woken up yet, but what's NLP?

The Non League Paper which covers all aspects of non-league football and, as Stanley are near the top of the non-league tree, features them quite heavily. Published twice a week (Fridays and Sundays). The Sunday edition always has a full-page match report on Stanley's game from the previous day.

If you haven't seen the article you might be interested to know that it says the wristbands were the idea of "schoolboy fan, Liam Smith".

Does the NLP publish an online version? I remember trying to find one last year with no success.

This is their website - http://www.nonleaguepaper.co.uk/ - but you have to buy the paper to see the features they do - a bit of a trek to a papershop that sells it for you I would imagine!!!

I can see it now..."Honey, I'm stepping out to grab the paper. I'll be back in a couple of days."
