A post last week said they'd played their last game at Bacup last weekend.

Don't know if that's right or not.

Maybe Karenfaz was going to sing the National Anthem before the game and they couldn't get a public music licence, trade descriptions stepped in and blocked it

It was a friendly against Rossendale, game finished 0 - 0 and there were bacon & sausage butties a-plenty thanks to Hazel. Rommy once again turned up to support the girls, bless him

The performance was magnificent, as were the butties!!!
A clean sheet for Stanley Ladies and safety for the men. I'm off to put the lottery on for Wednesday!

Re: Urgent Help - Re: Stanley Ladies

They played really well and I even saw Schultzy screaming when Stanley went close alongside Rommy Boco. We would have promoted it had we been able to but due to health and safety issues it had to be played behind closed doors but it was a great gesture from the club to offer us the pitch before it gets relaid. So thanks ASFC we really appreciate it and it was a great day for the girls to remember their first season.
