The predictions board notwithstanding logic suggests a home banker. 'Pools might be expected to finish the race they started back at the FES back in November. But the strides get more difficult and uncertain with all the expectations and impatience and pressures of nearing the tape.
They lost away on Saturday.
Beware the "wounded animal" syndrome but if we can defend throughout the team as we can and frustrate them I think we have enough in the locker to hit them.
I well remember 2003 when (then) lowly Sheffield Wednesday spoiled Portsmouth's promotion party beating them 2 - 1 at Fratton Park and Portsmouth had won 3 -1 at Hillsborough in October.
In the play off final in 2005 'Pools were unsettled by a small quick striker - Drew Talbot.

I wanted to know before, posting my prediction , if GOD was playing?.If he is then we have a super duper ye beaut chance. If not, well I see us conpetative at least.
We all know that teams at the top do have a bit of a wobble as the end gets nearer, we had one last season, i also have a good feeling about today, i think with our recent results pool will maybe approach this game a little differently than what they might have done a few weeks ago, i`m not saying they will be scared of us but they will be well aware that we can play and will be able to hurt them if they are not carefull.
