The goals were well taken, so well done to Andy and Roscoe.
...and also to Ian Dunbavin, who was the MotM for me today.

Did you leave at half time?

Re: vs Chesterfield
Accrington Stanley---Powered by the crowd
Second half atmosphere was like a cup tie, the Clayton End cheering every time a Stanley player touched the ball. When the goalie tried to clock Jay Harris then the crowd erupted. From then on a Stanley win with adreneline flooding from the supporters to the team. Most enjoyable 45 minutes for a very long while!

Re: vs Chesterfield
Weigh up their keeper and send him to Vegas Mayweather has an opponent.
Terrible display, good thing they were worse.
Yes we had all the possession but it really was a case of them being bad rather than us being good I'm afraid

Re: vs Chesterfield
How a team plays is always 'subjective', But 3 points is 3 points.

Re: vs Chesterfield
Always appreciate the 3 points, but it wasn't pretty today.
When I saw the size of the Chesterfield team I assumed that the tactics would be to play the ball on the floor and use the pace of Roscoe. We didn't start to do that until the last third of the game and it paid off.
To be fair to Whalley, who has taken a lot of stick this season, his pace and direct play instantly caused problems for those big monsters. As soon as he started running at them, you could tell they were worried.
Nice to see a little variation at corners too. The driven ball from Craney was perfect for Roscoe to head home.
There was more effort from the team today, even though confidence was obviously rock bottom. I still don't see Branch as a team player (see his outburst at Dunbavin and his verbal assault on the fans), but the 3 points were a nice bonus.
