Wycombe Match Thread.

Big game tonight especially with Oxford beating Dagenham 4-0 last night we need 3 points to keep on Oxford,s coattails and the bigger one breath right down Plymouth's neck,s who just are maybe beginning to wobble need to get behind the lad,s from the kick off tonight and push them to the 3 points.

Re: Wycombe Match Thread.

Does anyone know anything about a 'friendly' that was due to be played at Sheeley (near Huddersfield) last night? The local paper gave the impression that it was mainly first teamers who would be playing but elsewhere I've seen that it was mainly U18s. Did anyone from the firsts get a run-out before tonight's match?

Friendly chance at Shelley for Accrington ex Huddersfield Town duo en route to Glasgow Rangers - Huddersfield Examiner

To be honest, not only for the auto's but the playoffs too. A drop in form could soon see us out whereas 3 more points would continue to put some space below us!

Re: Wycombe Match Thread.

don,t expect a classic tonight as they seem to be better at defending than attacking looking at their record. a boring 1 nil to Stanley will do fine.

Re: Wycombe Match Thread.

Looking at the last 11 games we have to play, 2 are against Wycombe, 1 against Orient on Good Friday - the other 8 are against teams currently 12th or below.

We still have to play all the teams currently in the bottom 4 - these will be the one's that we will need to be winning - they will be scrapping for every point.

25 points out of 33 should crack the automatic spot.

So a minimum of 8 wins, one draw, and no fewer than two defeats from the next 11!
And Loo van Gallstones thinks he has a challenge on his hands.

Or 7 wins & 4 draws - unbeaten to the end of the season.

Re: Wycombe Match Thread.

Missed the two home matches last week as I was away on holiday. I managed to follow Dan's live text on the fishy site of the Plymouth match. It was so nerve wracking following the text and I went crackers when we got the two late goals!
It must have been absolutely brilliant for those of you actually at the match!!!

Tough match tonight especially without Crooks but as Coley says, the other lads have to step up!!

Come on all you STANLEY SUPPORTERS!
We can once again be the EXTRA MAN which could make a difference.

LOUD AND PROUD FOR THE BOYS IN RED AND WHITE
