Question Your away end

I'm a Carlisle fan and looking forward to my trip to Accrington.

Especially seen as my lass was born in Burnley and brought up in Colne.

He family all still live in Colne so we'll be making a weekend of it.

What we are hoping for is that we play you guys at your spot over the August Bank Holiday weekend whilst

the Blues Festival is on in Colne! Would be a great weekend for us!

Don't know whether many of you go, but me and my lass and her family go every year. They all live there

so we also get the chance to visit her family.

I'm just wondering as we/Carlisle Utd will bring a large number of fans down to your place. How many will it hold?

I noticed we are in the Coppice Terrace behind the goal. I'm just curious and I think it may be all ticket for us.

Especially we took over 3000 to Rochdale this season and 2000 to other places.

Cheers

Re: Your away end

If you bring 3000 we will struggle at a guess I would say 2000 is about maximum but some have been limited to about 500 when the police and council have laid the law down...... If my memory is correct(???) chester brought 1600 this season.....

Re: Your away end

Yes, that’s what we were told it was roughly (which didn’t quite make sense as we took 1700 to telford mid-week the Tuesday before but never mind) But we were given space for 2000 if memory serves me correctly. Pity it decided to p*** it down just before kick-off...

Re: Your away end

No need to get angry tealeaf I only asked!!

We are a well supported club thats all.

We took around 1000 to Bury on Boxing Day and 1700ish to York so we'll probably manage around 1500 - 2000. Hopefully we'll all get in. I don't wanna miss it.

I was,nt getting angry Brisc, I was simply making an observation about the attractions of residency within the township of Carlisle, as compared to other northern metropolae.
