New years eve in China
Well, it's new years eve here in china and here is a picture that was taken just 20 mins ago, of us all with the chinese workers in the factory we are working in. The big blue thing in the background is one of the machines that are made at Emerson And Renwick in Accrington!! We are all off now for the factory party... mucho beer please!!!

New Years Meal
Back on the subject of chinese cuisine, this is what was served for us an our works Chinese new year celebration.
It was a hard choice Roast Duck or Roast Pigeon, Hmmm I wonder?

Pigeons Head...
...I think I'm right in saying that's supposed to be the best part (along with the claws)....you eat all the chewy bits first, then finish with the beak and toes. Nice and crunchy, like pork scratchings.

Never tried pidgeon, what's it like? Had the roast duck, and it's really good. Had roast suckling pig in Sardinia, which comes complete with head, and lots of crispy skin and that's fantastic. I believe they do it over at Alghero's near the Houghton Arms.
