Special Photo Competition (Macro)
All photos must have been taken by the person submitting them. you can enter as many times as you like. all photo's must be taken with the camera set on "macro". Katex, different cameras seem to have different magnification for Macro.......I am going to experiment with mine a bit......only problem is I sometimes get a 'wobble on' and then the focus is out.

I've actually found a practical use for macro, sometimes the labels on foodstuffs are just too small to read even with my best glasses on, Now a quick focus dump to p.c. and hey presto, I can read the labelling.

Just had a though, I think I'm excluded from this comp, not sure that my camera has Macro mode, never gets used if it has, "could" be one of the preset modes that I never use, will have to check.
If I want to shoot macro I put it in manual mode and put a macro lens on. |

its a close up mode that allows you to take pictures at 'life size'
Usually you need to get teh camera REALLY close to the subject |
