Re: Customer Loyalty??

im o2's best customer and they can't stop giving me free stuff. last year they sent me a phone for just being a good customer. im on pay as you go and used to spend at least 50.00 a month on my phone! then i bought a bolt on deal i now get 400 txts a month for 11.99. i txt alot and it saves me so much money, i top my phone up now 15.00 a month better than 50.00. and o2 still love me!

Talking Upgrade? Why Bother.

I am on a T-MOBILE contract for a business. having had a nokia 3310 for years, i sold the D600 that T-MOBILE gave me as part of the package, for £225.00. i used the money to fund future phone bills. this made more sense to me.:engsmil:

Re: Customer Loyalty??

Well done bbb, unless you use a phones features, why have it.
Babyboo, if your bolt on is 11.99 and you top up 15 a month that leaves you with 3.01 to spend, is that right?

Re: Customer Loyalty??

Rang O2 yesterday to cancel my original subscription and keep my number - which apparently they can't do but that's a boring post! - and managed to get a better deal from the cancellation people. My line rent is now half price, I get to keep my 100 mins and 500 texts and my lovely Ericsson W810i
Joy is mine

Re: Customer Loyalty??

TH only way to keep a number on teh same network is to move it to PAYG sim on another network then bring it back across after a month. Its a pain in teh bum and must cause the networks a load of paperwork

I have always been with Orange since their first Nokia phone (11 years ish??). I was on contract then moved to pay as you go and am now back on contract. I have always kept my number.

Re: Customer Loyalty??

If you just upgrade then yes you will, however 99% of teh time the deals to new customers are a LOT better than what is offered even if you go through to disconnection team. e.g.

http://onestopphoneshop.co.uk/index.php?&B[0][next][0]=special&B[0][special]=Orange&banner=MenuTextSpecialOrange

That is just one site I check for deals.

My contract is up in about 4 weeks and I will be looking to change. Preferably I'm looking at some of the new phones with internal hard disks as I do tend to carry a lot of stuff round on my phone(Current phone has 512M and its 80%full and I don't have many MP3s on there yet). There is also teh move to wifi enabled phones which would be ace particularly when Skype stick a Mobile Java version out. Effectively I could bypass the network charges for a lot of calls when in a wifi hotspot (at work etc)
