Re: Daniel.

Thanks for the link.

Although a third party told me how Daniel was doing, it's very moving to read just how stongly and bravely he, and his family, fought.

So very sad.

Rest in peace Daniel.

Re: Daniel.

I have to say that the funeral service was beautifully done.

His friends wanted and did carry the coffin, a site that touched so many hearts. Friends and family gave readings and their thoughts straight from the heart.

Unfortunately the CD with the music on wouldn't work but I really believe this was fate as in its place a song composed for Dan by one of his friends was played and it was amazing and so heart rending but told the story of a deep friendship that can reach beyond the grave.

Then afterwards we all went up to rovers who allowed his friends to release 19 blue and white balloons for every year of his life from the pitch side, whilst the rest of us cheered for Danny inside as they were released!

All the family were amazing from Janette to Mez and of course Jordan who was watching out for his mum the whole time

Thank you for allowing me to share in this sad but very thought provoking and loving time

Lesley xxx

Re: Daniel.

Fuerals can be wonderful.

A wonderful way to celebrate someone's lfe, instead of mourn it, and that's what you did for Daniel.
