Best Cafe in Ramsbottom

I'm off to Ramsbottom tomorrow to visit a shop and want to get a nice coffee and cake while we are there. Can anyone recommend a good cafe?

There are a few cafes along the main street, all of them look to do good business, alas I cannot vouch for their wares......I have only noticed them as we pass by on the bus to Bury

Best one so far for me was the Cultured Bean on Bridge Street.

It is a good chippy, I always enjoy my dinner there when I go over to Ramsbottom.

The little cafe just a bit further up the hill has very limited seating but does a decent meal, I have poached egg on toast there and she always does it to my liking.

I only ate once in the pub on the corner near the station and won't be going back.

is Ramsbottom an actual place ? , thought it was only a bus stop somewhere before Strangways on the Ribble X13/23 from Gods country 'Hyndburn/Arrod /Accrington' to Manchester .
remember meeting lots lasses from Bacup on the Blackpool/St,Annes Sand-dunes but never ever remember if I met a lass from Ramsbottom anywhere ever

If you have time Fra -may i suggest you pop into the local art gallery there. My Aunt, Diane Chaffer -who lives in Accy- has an exhibition on at the moment of her paintings of Abruzzo and Tuscany, worth having a look!
