I know they are not mundane, just meant common attributes that make up a good mother. See ... I do use the wrong wording sometimes..

You appear to have taken my 'skimming over the tribute' remark personally for some reason.
No. I don't. You are one of the most wonderful, vivacious, generous, people I've ever met.

I apologise.

I took what you said in the wrong way.

'Skimming' - not worth reading, 'the usual tributes', the same things had already been said on here.

Just seemed rather dismissive, of some of the moving things people have posted.

I was wrong, and am sorry, for reading into things that weren't meant.

I hope you can forgive me. x

Of course, you are forgiven.

On reading back through the thread (several times), I understand now how you must have interpreted my remark.

It was just that I could not hope to put up my feelings in the tender way you have about your own wonderful mum, and thought I would bore the pants off people, so just decided to point out the one special quality I admired. xx
