As an optimist I am staying up until midnight to see the New Year in.
The pessimist in me is staying up to make damn sure that 2021 leaves.

A very, very, happy New Year to you all from South Australia, hope it's a really good one for you in every way. Let's hope that in 2022 sense prevails, the virus is defeated, at least to some extent, and that we get leaders who actually know what they are doing - and do it well...or does the latter mean I am living in a land of make believe....
