Sparky, you could get him to take you dogging, oops Dogg Inn, at Belthorn. Good food, and some nice places to walk it off afterwards.

Dog Inn, Belthorn, Lancashire, BB1 2NN - pub details # beerintheevening.com

Wherever you go, enjoy it.

Mitali Indian Restaurant on Warner Street in Accy, They have a Sunday buffet in the afternoon which is excellent and good value, well worth a visit.

thanks guys. We've never been to the dog so that could be a possibility. Mitali we both love but we're looking to spread our wings and go somewhere new to us.

The White Bull at Ribchester?

Does good food, and in the unlikely event of Sunday being a nice day, has a nice garden, plus there are still nice places to walk afterwards.

The White Bull - Ribchester

Re: Nice place to eat on sunday anyone?

Backlane ends at Colne, used to be the Hare and Hounds
Skipton Old Rd Foulridge Colne BB8 7EP
Now't fancy, no table cloths or owt like that, just good home cooking and a free 1lb loaf of warm bread to cut yourself with plenty of garlic butter to start with, sell real ales too, on the back road to Skipton from Colne - go up past the golf club (1st left off roundabout at the one which you could turn right at to go to Trawden) It's about 2-3 mile up there on your left, middle of nowhere, proper country pub
Pete might fancy their 32oz steak
Ring 1st, gets very busy Sat and Sundays

Try Spice Lounge which was formally the New Inns at Rishton. Well worth the journey. On Sunday they do a buffet for 9.95, I have never tried it but their normal menu is excellent, the Garlc Special Balti is to die for!!

Its NOT the one on the road from Colne to Earby, both classed as foulridge and "had" the same name, the one on Skipton old road has now changed its name to the back lane end

It's "C" on this map

Coach & Horses, Haslingden old Road, do an excellent home cooked menu.
Also Duckworth Hall, Oswaldtwistle do a good menu & serve 'til 5pm ish. Sparrowhawk at Fence is good too, and Fishermans Retreat at Edenfield.
Bon Apetit
