I thing is you only have to look at my flat (and MargaretRs) to understand, the number of plug sockets is ridiculus for today's living, I have a few of those convert one socket no 4 gadgets which I need. In the old days there were no fridges or freezers, stereos, DVDs Videos, PCs, Printers, Washers, Microwaves, dishwashers (other than the husbands)
