Re: Kangaroo, Ostrich & Crocodile?

Crocodile meat is lovely, it has the texture of pork and tastes similar to chicken. I love kangaroo meat and usually buy it from the fella who comes to Accy food festival.

It has to be served rare otherwise it goes tough during cooking as there is hardly any fat in it. It tastes quite similar to venison so it is quite a strong meat but I love it. If you are not a fan of rare meat then kangaroo is not for you

I've never had ostrich but would give it a try :-)

After a "72-hour shift at t'pit" and a "43-mile walk in the snow wearing clothes made from sacks" you can't beat stew and dumpling....like you say "you know where your at" .
