Accrington Naturalists

Are Accrington Naturalists still in existence?

Before you get all in a tizzy, at the back, we are not talking about the, let it all dangle naturist lot here but people studying flora and fauna.

We have spent a few days in the Ribble Valley researching and have discovered that Accrington Naturalists used to camp on land above Grindleton, once rented by a member of our family.

Re: Accrington Naturalists

Afraid I cannot help with this Pat but refreshing to see that someone understands the difference between a Naturalist who studies nature and Naturists who study each other (dangly bits included).

Re: Accrington Naturalists

Thanks Bob, the area we are interested is known as Duckey Leach, on the edge of Grindleton Fell.
