I much prefer Football [soccer],Union,and League to Aussie Rules.
We have been here for 34 years and still cant work out the RULES bit.

The Adelaide bushfire control was helped when we had steady rain overnight, and is now80% under control,no loss of life but about 30 homes destroyed.

After 47 degrees yesterday our local parrots were happy to drink and splash around in the dish of water we put out in the garden for them.
Cool change today,only 38 degrees forecast.

I still remember the old air raid shelters opposite the school.








After they were demolished it made more room for the travelling fair and gypsies to move on to the spare ground.
