If I'm not mistaken Barrie ( and I could very well be.). City did rent it off the council but have now bought it outright with all the work going on with the academy.

Accrington Motorcycle club, used to meet in the Hope and Anchor when I was a member. I believe they disbanded and formed two other clubs. Have some fond memories of lots of happy times in the Hope. :D
