My late father-in-law used to talk about Bunny Barnes. He was a childhood friend of Bunny's son Gilly Barnes and was at Bunny's bedside when he died because the family were too upset to be present.

Thanks for that.
His brother (my G Granddad) was born in 1901 so was too young to join up. Thomas was born in 1898 so he was only 16.

When I lived on Broadfield, Ossy the house lower down than ours was said to have been won via Kelloggs. At the time (1980's) a family who had a grocery business on Accy market lived there.
